BROWS for DEPRIVED CHILDREN

BROWS Children's day celebrations at Praja Vidyalayam (People's Public School) Praja Vidyalayam was started with an intention to educate children of the weaker & financially backward sections of the society, who are falling yards behind education, even though possess high intelligence and intention to pursue their studies. BROWS team during their interactions with the school staff, observed these children are from different lifestyles and belong to poorer households. Also it is observed by the BROWS team that girl dropouts are more due to these children need to take care of household duties in the absence of their parents who are daily wage workers. BROWS team participated in the Children's Day celebrations at this School and provided the deprived children with chocolates, Slates, Slate Pencils, Notebooks, Pens, Pencils, sharpeners and erasers.
