BROWS for Street Children

Parivarthana, an NGO working on education for Street Children, Child Labour and orphans and school drop outs, bringing them back to school and facilitating further education. BROWS Team visited Parivartana on 18-Dec-2011 and interacted with childern and staff. Parivartana Secretary, Vakalanka Ramakrishna detaied about the activities of the organization. BROWS team distributed sweets, books and woolen caps to the children to protect them from cold weather. BROWS belives children needs special attention as they are more vulnerable to the conditions under which they live and more affected than any other age group in the society. Children are particularly vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. Street Children are exploited and the problems include Child Labour, Discrimination (Gender), Health and Homelessness apart from poverty.
